Lisa is the Council's Access and Outreach Coordinator and she is dedicated to ensuring young children and their families have the resources, support and opportunities they need for a strong start in life. With a passion for early childhood education and community engagement, Lisa works closely with providers, educators, local organizations and families to expand access to high-quality early learning programs in our region. Focus areas within her role include Childcare Resource & Referral, professional development opportunities for providers and educators, and she will serve as a resource connector to help providers navigate the early childhood system as well as access resources available.
Lisa has worked with children birth-5 in the Early Childhood field since 1998 and has held many positions including: substitute, early childhood teacher, family advocate, family home visitor, and director. Lisa is excited to continue to work with families and providers.
Away from work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and two beautiful daughters. Reading a good book is her favorite hobby and spending time with young children helping them learn and grow is her favorite reward.
