ENROLLMENT FOR 3-YEAR-OLDS WITH IEP

In the coming school year, Special Education Administrative Units (AUs) will be responsible for the placement of children eligible for special education. Families of children with IEPs are not able to select a program or a site when submitting their application. The application goes directly to the school district or Pikes Peak BOCES to work with the family for placement. All children eligible for special education with an IEP will receive funding in accordance with their IEP.

Why should families participate?

The goal of UPK is to create equal access to quality education before kindergarten AND help reduce the overall cost of childcare for families.
