Mountain Valley Developmental Services (MVDS)
MVDS supports adults and children in Eagle, Garfield, Lake and Pitkin counties with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Our work provides life span services for these individuals, their parents and family members, guardians, colleagues at work, neighbors and friends to promote independence, quality of life, and rights protection. MVDS is also the fiscal agent for the Rocky Mountain Early Childhood Council.
Early Childhood Councils Leadership Alliance (ECCLA)
As a membership association, ECCLA supports Councils by providing technical assistance and capacity building, implementing shared measurement for collective impact, advocating for policies affecting early childhood issues, leveraging statewide partnerships, and serving as the voice for Colorado’s 34 Early Childhood Councils. Councils work in communities across Colorado to collaborate with local partners and align programs and services for young children and their families.
Together, we are building and supporting Colorado’s early childhood system. Our collective effort is critical – because when families thrive and children have a strong start, our communities across Colorado are strengthened.

The Colorado Childcare Assistance Program (CCAP) helps families that are homeless, working, searching for work or in school find low-income child care assistance. Families that are enrolled in the Colorado Works Program can also use CCCAP services. A CCAP agreement is one of the tools the State and the Council supports to help families have equal access to high quality early childhood care and education.

CECE Coalition:
Across two river basins, sections of three counties, and four school districts, this ambitious direction will help our community create a better learning environment for early childhood development. Our proposed district is imperative in helping members of our community have access to early childhood care and education services. Let’s bring together economically and socially diverse people from across the Roaring Fork Valley for the betterment of early childhood development.
