Quality Initiatives Coordinator

Kristin Sparkman is the Quality Initiatives Coordinator for the Rocky Mountain Early Childhood Council (RMECC). With a passion for child development and a commitment to excellence in early education, Kristin works closely with educators, caregivers, and community partners to implement quality improvement strategies and support best practices in early childhood settings. Kristin holds a Bachelor's degree in Integrated Studies from the University of Northern Colorado and has worked with children birth to 12 in a variety of settings including preschool, Kindergarten, English as a Second Language (ESL), and school-age. Kristin brings expertise in curriculum design, assessment, and policy implementation. She is committed to fostering environments where young learners thrive and ensuring that early childhood programs meet high standards of quality and care. Kristin coordinates all Quality Improvement programs the Council administers including Colorado Shines, Expanding & Emerging Grants, Lena Grow, and Expanding Quality for Infants and Toddlers.

Kristin enjoys skiing, hiking, and camping with her husband, Luke, and her two handsome boys, Liam and Ollie.
