Cindy Rivas

Cindy is the Council's Early Learning Navigation Coordinator. In this role, she supports families with young children by helping them find and access early learning programs, childcare options, developmental resources, and community services. Through personalized guidance, the coordinator makes it easier for families to navigate available resources and connect with the support they need. The coordinator also partners with early childhood providers by connecting them to resources, sharing information about community needs, and strengthening relationships between providers, families, and local early learning services to help build a stronger early childhood system for all.

A proud Colorado native with roots in El Salvador, Cindy grew up speaking Spanish at home and learning English in school. She lives in Parachute and previously worked in a clinical setting before embracing this new challenge and diving into all that Universal Preschool entails. Outside of work, Cindy enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, camping, and watching movies.
