What We Do

It is the mission of the Eagle Valley Family Assistance Fund to provide constructive financial assistance, not otherwise available, for low-to-moderate income families in Eagle County to either overcome economic hardship or to aid recipients to continue to be productive and self-sufficient community members. The Eagle Valley Family Assistance Fund intends to address the financial needs of working families and individuals who are unable to receive assistance from traditional methods and systems of economic assistance. These families or individuals do not qualify for, or do not choose to receive public assistance, and at the same time do not qualify for commercial loans. EVFAF provides a supervised no-interest loan from our revolving fund. Loan repayments are individually structured according to each clients' ability to repay. The EVFAF hosts the Sweet Shot Golf Tournament annually to add to the revolving fund and to replenish it for any defaults.
