Kickstart Literacy by Teaching Strategies is a science-of-reading-based preschool curriculum for the year before kindergarten, designed to build foundational literacy skills through engaging, play-based lessons. It includes 180 lessons that spiral through phonological awareness, phonemic awareness, phonics, and writing, focusing on oral language, letter sounds, and rhyming to prepare children for reading success. The program offers resources for teachers, such as on-demand videos and a digital platform, to easily integrate these explicit, research-backed instruction strategies into their classrooms.
