What We Do

Lake County Department of Human Services (LCDHS) is dedicated to providing services that will enrich the quality of life for members of our community by building on strengths, and empowering individuals and families to improve their well-being and self-sufficiency. LCDHS is pleased to offer walk-in hours for interviews for public assistance programs like SNAP, LEAP, etc. (8:30am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday). LCDHS always has the ability through technology to interact with our Spanish speaking and other language community members.
