LENA Grow gives early childhood educators actionable data, practical strategies, and personalized insights they can use in their classrooms. Rather than simply receiving instruction, teachers actively reflect on their own practices, identify opportunities for growth, and see the impact of their efforts over time.
How LENA Grow Works
At the heart of LENA Grow are conversational turns—simple back-and-forth exchanges between a child and an adult. LENA technology identifies a turn when an adult speaks and a child responds, or vice versa, within five seconds.
Through an ongoing coaching and feedback loop, educators learn how to create more opportunities for these exchanges throughout the day. Increasing responsive interaction supports the language and social-emotional development that is foundational to children’s learning.
What to expect…
In as little as five weeks—or through two stackable five-week sequences—educators can experience renewed energy, confidence, and pride in their work. Survey results indicate increases in teacher self-efficacy and job satisfaction, along with a greater appreciation for the lasting impact educators have on children’s lives.
For children, more responsive interactions mean more opportunities to communicate, be heard, and engage with the adults around them—experiences that can contribute to positive developmental outcomes in both the short and long term.
