What We Do...

Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, reliable, affordable, and educational childcare option for our community. We want to promote a fun and exciting learning environment for children. At Caring Kids Preschool, we support families and encourage children by providing the tools for each child to grow and develop socially and cognitively. Childcare services are provided from 7:00 am – 5:30 pm Monday-Friday. Our Center will be open year-round. We accept children ages 6 weeks to 7 years old.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, Children’s Garden of Learning partners with children, families, and the Vail Valley community to provide an inquiry-based education for young learners. What We Do...

Children’s Mini College preschool, an auxiliary of Colorado Mountain College, has educated three- to five-year-old children since the preschool opened in 1978. We are a play based program that follows the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood learning “a place where all children are honored and respected for their potential, their capabilities and their humanity.” The program is open 9 months starting in September five days per week. We offer half (8 to 12) and full day (8 to 3:30) classes with an extended day option to 5:15. There is also a summer program for preschoolers.

What We Do...

Our program provides pre-licensing support as well as licensing of childcare centers and family childcare homes. Our consultant provides support to programs and providers through coaching and mentoring. Our bi-lingual outreach consultant provides translations for families as well as offering translation services for providers. We have a resource van with many educational materials that we lend out to licensed programs. We also provide access to First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration trainings, as well as trainings in guidance, child development and other topics.

What We Do...

The Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP) provides child care assistance to families who are working, searching for employment, or are in training, and families who are enrolled in the Colorado Works program and need child care services to support their efforts toward self-sufficiency. CCCAP provides you access to reduced cost child care at licensed child care facilities or qualified (unlicensed) providers. You may be eligible to participate in CCCAP if you: - Reside in Colorado - Are working, seeking employment, or are participating in training/education - Have at least one child who is under 13 years old (or 19 years old if the child has special needs or a disability and requires child care) - Have a family income of less than the county defined maximum Recipients with income are responsible to pay a portion of the cost of care.
